(5) Therapeutic drug monitoring of theophylline for COPD cases.


Additional qualifications:

Trained in bio-statistics. Recently in May 2006 participated in a workshop on “Research Methodology”. Have done a “Post graduates diploma in computer programming”. Actively participated in several workshops on immunology and allergy & have also organized camps for allergy & asthma patients.


Skills:

Allergy testing: History taking, Skin allergy test, Mast cell degranulation test, Cytokine assays, IgE and other immunoglobulin estimation. Estimation of circulating immune complexes, pulmonary function test, and entire range of hormonal assays, tumor markers and autoimmune markers by Radio immuno assay, ELISA, Chemiluminescence assay, Immunofluorescence assay technique.


Alternative medicine:

Ayurveda, Mudra therapy.


Future plans:

Post-doctoral study in immunology, preferably allergy & asthma.
